Gregory

Gregory Felch graduated from Jacksonville State University in Alabama USA in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Art. He considers himself to be first and foremost an artist specializing in graphic design—that is computer and print d images—but he also has a passion for a myriad of fine art disciplines: painting drawing and sculpting to name a few. He has had his work featured in museums throughout his home state of Alabama notably at Jacksonville Auburn and his home city of Huntsville.

It was during his university days that he was first introduced to Chinese culture when he was selected as one of only ten students to receive the honor of attending a foreign exchange program at Taizhou University in Zhejiang China. He returned the following year as a senior and made plans to return to the same city to teach after graduating. For four years he has taught English in Zhejiang first at Linhai Foreign Language School teaching middle school students from grades 7-9 and then at World International English training school where he taught children and adults of all ages and language proficiencies. Many of his adult students worked in various international trading companies and they sought to learn business English to gain more success in their respective career while his high school students often focused on preparing for the IELTS exam and subsequently studying abroad. He would often share a quote from another artist the children’s author and illustrator Dr. Seuss whom he credits in part with his love for art as a child:

"You have brains in your head.

You have feet in your shoes.

You can steer yourself

any direction you choose.

You're on your own. And you know what you know.

And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.”

― Dr. Seuss Oh The Places You'll Go!
