中加枫华双语教师感悟:用流利英文来赢得学生的芳心

常听教师说,为什么学生总是在外教的课堂上纪律那么好?而我们的课堂有时却不那么尽如人意。难道就是因为我们都是中方面孔,尽管教授的同样的是加方教程,学生的差别对待还是如此明显?

  常听教师说,为什么学生总是在外教的课堂上纪律那么好?而我们的课堂有时却不那么尽如人意。难道就是因为我们都是中方面孔,尽管教授的同样的是加方教程,学生的差别对待还是如此明显?对于这种情况我曾经也有过疑虑,但是现在我想说,让我们用我们流利的英文来征服学生。

  You can hear teachers say whythe students behaved so well in your classes but so badly in my classes? Doesit mean that we’ve got Chinese faces so the students won’t focus or studentsare so prejudiced that they can only concentrate in the foreign teachers’classes? I had doubts with this casebeforebut now I want to say let us conquer students with our fluent English.

中加枫华双语教师感悟:用超流利英文来征服学生

  作为一名双语教师,对于口语的的要求可想而知。对于班级英文水平差的学生来说,如何让他们面对一位中方面孔的英语教师,却愿意或者敢于开口说英文。教师如何能够克服自己的惰性,面去坚持每堂课流利的说英文,而不是随着大家的相知最后的双语课堂变成了中文课堂这才是最大的考验。这就在更大程度上对教师的专业素养提出更高的要求。

  As a bilingual teacher therequirements for oral English could be imagined. It is a real challenge to ourteachers that how to open the students’ mouths even when they are confrontedwith the bilingual teachers. Besides how to get over your laziness and giveone perfect and fluent bilingual class every day is waiting for our teachers toovercome. We can only make it when we keep getting professional.

  在教学教学过程中,我有以下一些建议:

  Hereare the suggestions:

  1、坚持全英文授课。一份好的坚持胜过无数次的重新开始。

  Teach in English. A thousand restarts can notcompare to persistence.

用超流利英文来征服学生

  2、英语口语中,请保持连贯的表达。如果做不到,可以先从放慢语速开始。

  Keep a coherent on your oralEnglish. You can slow down your speed if it seems really awkward to you.

  3、利用好自己的肢体语言。用尽你所有的办法去解决生词。记住,说中文是你的最后一条选择。

  Make good use of your body language andexhausting all ways to solve the understanding of your words. Always noted that Chinese is your lastchoice.

  4、不断提高自己的口语水平。

  Improve your spoken English.

  学生或许从外教课堂里走出来后,在上某些双语教师课时,或多或少心理有点落差。我们只有用流利的英语来说明,让学生深刻的知道,无论是中方面孔还是西方面孔,在枫华,外教处处都是,哪里都是外教课堂。

  It is understandable that thestudents will get a little bit of unevenness in mind when they step out of theforeign teachers’ classes and go to our bilingual teachers’ classes. We canonly solve their psychological problems by our fluent and idiomatic English.They will know no matter they are communicating with the Chinese faces orforeign faces in Sino-Canada English classes are everywhere.
