过去的两周间，无锡协和双语国际学校与昆山康桥国际学校之间进行了多场足球和篮球比赛。2016年5月17日我校主办了首轮对抗昆山康桥的U15年龄组足球赛和两场篮球赛。我校队员努力练习，比赛取得优异成绩。2016年5月31日我校队员前往昆山康桥进行了第二轮的比赛。
For the past few weeks a series of football and basketball competitions have been played between KCIS and WUIS. On May 17th WUIS hosted the first round of competitions against KCIS U15 football team and 2 of their basketball teams. Our ps trained hard for these competitions that resulted in some exciting matches. On May 31st WUIS returned to KCIS for the second round of competitions.
我校中学队坚持了两场硬仗，但是由于各种原因未能取得比赛。然而我们的队员比赛出了最高水平的技术，热情以及体育精神。
Our WUIS middle school team played hard both games however were unable to come away with a victory losing both matches. However our team played with the highest level of enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Our WUIS high school team started strong in this series by taking the victory in the first competitions 29 to 24. However KCIS were ready for us as we traveled to Kunshan to play them KCIS commanded a big lead for most of the game however our ps never gave up. WUIS out scored KCIS 15 to 5 points in the last 3 minutes of the game. Unfortunately it was not quite enough as KCIS took the second victory 61 to 51. Despite the loss our ps had a good time playing in a great competitions with a high level team and walked away from the series with one win and one loss.
The inspiration of sportsmanship and friendship
我校高中队首节比赛中险胜29比24。但是我校客场作战，昆山康桥在场面占据主导，我校队员并未放弃，在比赛最后三分钟我校对昆山康桥15比5。但是最终这些未能挽救劣势，最终比分51比61。尽管是失败，但是我的队员比出了高水平，在一系列比赛中取得了一胜一负的成绩。
Our WUIS middle school soccer team were highly successful in the series. They came away with victories in both games of the series showing that having time for organized team training and hard work has it's rewards in a competitions. Again our ps played with a high level of enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
我校中学足球队在一系列比赛中取得了优异成绩。他们赢得了两场比赛胜利，向大家证明了他们训练和努力的成果。同样的他们比赛出了高水平和高度的体育精神。
A personal note from Coach Mata Athletic Director for WUIS "Words cannot describe how proud I am of all the teams this year. You have given your very best to your team and your school. I wish you the very best and thank you for your dedication to the WUIS sports teams."
